FILLED, NO LONGER AVAILABLE: Ranch Manager Couple Guest and Working Ranch - Ocate, NM

Remote north-east New Mexico ranch seeks long term couple to fill their immediate opening. This is a hands on working management position, but will also require skillful management of staff to accomplish all work. These positions will have many different duties and will require a wide range of experience. Housing & utilities will be provided along with annual salary. We are also offering a profit share- so this is also a unique business opportunity for the right couple. NOTE: We seek a strong supportive couple with a positive attitude in life who are interested in building something great. We are in process of re-starting the ranch with new renovations to the lodges and a new beginning, so this is an exciting ground floor opportunity for a creative and energetic couple. Partial list of duties of each position are listed below:

Husband:
-Manage Guest Ranch services business for the Ranch.
-Must be creative and ability to market the Ranch.
-Maintain & repair all ranch equipment and vehicles.
-Maintain & repair all ranch facilities and grounds.
-Manage guides and other staff for hunting, fishing, and other programs.
-Interact with construction crews for guidance and maintenance knowledge
-Be able to operate all types of heavy equipment efficiently.
-Ability to maintain roads.
-Build and maintain fence
-Assist and lead staff with cattle and horse duties.
-Weld & fabricate.
-Must be very organized and efficient
-Hire staff and other Ranch hands as necessary to accomplish all work.
-A leader who communicates with all ranch staff, owners and others daily.

Wife:
-Manage booking guests for lodging, hunting, fishing, and other activities on the Ranch.
- Must be creative and ability to market the Ranch.
-Customer service for all staff and guests.
-Cooking and/or manage crew to accommodate guests meals.
-Assist with and/or manage housekeeping duties as needed.
-Must be extremely clean and organized.
-Assist with record keeping and book keeping as needed.
-Assist husband and other staff on ranch as needed.
-Must have strong computer skills to include: email, Excel, Word, ability to email photos and reports as needed to effectively manage the business flow of the ranch.
