Responsibilities:

• A live-in salaried position for a couple to provide intensive treatment services for 3-6 young adults
• Benefits include private living space within a beautiful home, utilities, food, transportation, extended health and dental coverage, Registered Retirement Savings Plan, and staff support
• The primary objective of the Teaching Parents is the implementation of the Teaching-Family Model to encourage youth to develop to their maximum potential. As parents you will be responsible for these youths 24/7, 365 days a year. Regular days off and holidays are provided
• You will provide a normalized home environment to encourage a naturalized family living experience for these youths and the building of close relationships

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in a related field preferred, previous experience working with vulnerable children and families would be an asset
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• Able to supervise staff
