FEATURED JOB OPENING: Sun Valley Caretaker/Housekeeper Couple - Sun Valley, ID

Seeking an organized, self-directed couple with a positive attitude. The couple will oversee maintenance on and provide all housekeeping for a large estate in Ketchum, Idaho. This position is for a family’s second residence and requires that the couple live on site. Compensation consists of private attached one bedroom apartment with a separate entrance with cable TV, WIFI and all utilities, plus a yearly salary commensurate with experience and references.

When the family is in residence or during special events, the schedule is full time with some overtime required. When the family is not in residence, schedule is flexible. You will manage a grounds crew and the weekly contractors and must know how to do housekeeping and keep a large home very clean.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·      Maintain the property to the highest standard

·      Handle preventive maintenance and repair, working with contractors for upkeep and repair of estate as needed

·      Organize, manage and restock household inventories including rocery and supply shopping, as needed

·      Assist in clean up after dinners and after special events, as required

·      Oversee care of chickens and of dogs when they are on-site, as needed

Requirements: COUPLES ONLY. Must be non-smokers, self motivated, hardworking, in good health, energetic and meticulous in maintaining the house and property. Would hope for a long-term commitment, taking pride in keeping up a beautiful place to live. No pets or children. No drama. Must keep professional appearance and conduct at all times around owner and guests. Valid driver’s license. Willing to work over holidays and have your holidays scheduled after or before. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and technical systems a plus. Ability to work with minimal direction.  Strong project follow-through. Must pass thorough background check and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. No criminal background.
