FEATURED JOB OPENING: Small 5 Horse Farm/Groundskeeper/Housekeeping Couple - Cumberland, MD

Long term position available - Looking for a couple/team to live and work year round as Groundskeepers/Housekeepers on a beautiful 44 acre farm/estate in mountains of Western Maryland.

Household duties would include, but not be limited to, grocery shopping, some cooking, cleaning, laundry, some dog sitting/walking (2 small Dachshunds) along wth other general household tasks . Generally, there is only one occupant living in the house wth occasional visits from adult children and grandchildren. 

Exterior responsibilities include grounds keeping such as mowing ( commercial zero turn mower and tractor wth brush hog on property) ,weed control, weed wacking, watering, general clean up of property, occasional light mulching, light painting, minor repairs at house and barn, twice daily feeding of 5 horses, maintenance of barns/fencing/pastures, trails, minor equip repair and snow plowng. Ability to use chainsaws, weedwhacker, tractor, zero turn mower & other maintenance equip a must.

At least one of the couple must have a driver's license. Both must pass background check, no drug use and have ability to stand, bend, walk and lift as required to complete tasks. 

Positions include a base salary ( tbd ) and use of a newer remodeled 3 bedroom, 1 bath ranch house to live in that includes all appliances, central air, beautiflul views, country setting, fenced in backyard, quiet peaceful area and a 2 car garage. The ranch house is on same 44 acre property as main house ( 200 hundred yards away) and barn ( 80 yards away ), free utilities and paid vacation and timeoff.
