FEATURED JOB OPENING: Self Storage Resident Manager Couple Wanted - Waco, TX

Looking for a reliable and responsible couple to manage our beautiful Self Storage Facility located in central Texas less than 2 hours drive from Dallas Fort Worth, our recent manager of 15yrs just retired and we are needing the right replacement. 

We are a family owned and opperated business and want someone who will treat this facility as their own and have fun doing it.

Must have experience in self storage or related field (apt rentals, camp ground on site manager, RV park manager, etc)

Position comes with a salary, a beautiful 2 bed 2 bath apartment with utilities paid, and your own garage.  (2 golf carts included)

Responsibilities:

The Manager will run all of the day to day operations of the property. This includes leasing, marketing, and reporting for the property. You will be expected to:

• Manage office and maintenance in an operating self-storage business.
• Provide outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer issues, and inquiries.
• Show and lease storage units, sell merchandise, complete lease paperwork, collect rent, and make collection calls.
• Manage rents and specials offered.
• Balance cash drawer & petty cash, and make daily bank deposits.
• Prepare weekly and monthly management reports.
• Maintain required tenant documentation in orderly fashion and regularly audit for completeness.
• Maintain clean office and facility.
• Assist in preparing units for auction as prescribed by law, and approved by management
• Effectively communicate with owners.
• Perform light repairs and maintenance duties
• Perform daily rounds to check property for security and cleanliness

General qualifications:

• Prior self storage experience preferred, but not required.
• Sales experience is preferred, but not required.
• General office and written / oral communication skills required
• Computer competency required

Previous management experience preferred

Customer service experience required

Knowledge of computers required
