We are seeking a couple to care for our family's quiet, natural 7-acre residence in the beautiful foothills of Woodside, just 30 minutes away from the ocean and San Francisco. Enjoy green mountain views and glorious weather with year-round high temperatures typically in the 60's and 70's! The buildings are all newly constructed, including the private caretaker cottage. The full time residents are just a couple and one child (two older children are await in college). We are a secular, progressive family who value kindness, nature, science and music.

Job requirements (on demand, but not to exceed 40 hours per week per person)

• Manage home repairs and maintenance, including cars, pool, tennis (all new)
• Manage landscaping needs
• Clean
• Shop
• Prepare dinner 5 days a week, occasionally other meals
• Receive visitors
• Pet care
• Modest amount of driving of residents
• Optional: personal assistance with travel arrangements and gift shopping

Minimum qualifications: At least one person with

• A clean driving record
• Experience with cats, love of animals (pets welcome)
• Property repair experience
• Cooking experience
• Cleaning experience
• High school diploma

Valued credentials (but not necessary)

• Strong English language, spoken and written
• French language, conversational
• CPR training
• Comfort with technology
• Electrical and plumbing expertise
• Security/police/military experience
• Musical performance skills

Disqualifiers

• History of substance abuse
• Criminal record beyond traffic infractions
• Allergies to pets
• Lack of physical or mental fitness
