FEATURED JOB OPENING: RV Resort Manager (Couple), Vancouver Island. BC (Housing Included)

RV Resort has an immediate opening for an RV Resort & Campground Manager. The Resort operates year round with  125  RV sites, group camping,  long stay Rving, camping and B&B.

You will be responsible for on-site  park operations, marketing & promotion, and guest relations  
Hospitality, sales and managerial backgrounds are important background for you to have in considering this position.    You  enjoy helping people, and are community minded.

While the duties are varied and seasonal the following is required:

• Maintain and repair facility, gardens, pool, buildings and small equipment
• Be able to operate equipment such as a back hoe, and carpentry tools
• Provide tourism information and promote local area information to guests
• Manage staff, including hiring and training staff, directing solving staffing issues
• Oversee operation of limited service retail outlet
• Business management skills
• Sales and marketing skills for site rentals
• Administrative skills including website event and activity posting
• Reservation system management.

        Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in the tourism, hotel and accommodation industry
• Knowledge in plant and equipment maintenance and operations
• Good customer service skills
• Sales &  Marketing
• Staff management
• Communication and organizational skills
• Pool maintenance certification

Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes an onsite manager’s suite
