Live and Work on the Lake - Resort Management Team 
 

Our resort is located on the shores of beautiful Sand Lake, in Sturgeon Lake, MN. Just less than two hours North of the Twin Cities and less than an hour away from Magnificent Lake Superior. Our resort offers great fishing, swimming and boating and much more for a great get away!  
 
Nearby you will find lots to do: fish at Sand Lake or any one of the several nearby lakes, all great for fishing! Hike or bike the local trails including the famous Willard Munger State Trail, with access less than 20 feet from the resort! Easy access to hundreds of miles of ATV trails, right across the highway from our resort including the Soo Line Trails. 
 
Our Opportunity 
Have you ever wanted to run a resort? We are looking for a bright, talented, self-motivated management team for our Sand Lake Resort property. An example of a team dynamic that has worked in the past for us is that one person would work part time in the office or cleaning, while the other person would work part to full time in maintenance and facility care. This position is very hands-on. Part of the compensation for this position is onsite living quarters with all utilities paid. The resort is owned and managed by Summit Management, which owns several other rental properties and manufactured home communities in Minnesota. The Summit Management headquarters is located in Stillwater, MN. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
• Answering phones, emails and all inquiries 
• Management of reservation system  
• Respond to all guest requests is a timely and professional manner  
• Maintenance, repairs, replacements, and upkeep of property and rental units as needed 
• Grounds keeping, including snow removal and lawn maintenance 
• Staffing the office and office administration 
• Manage independently all customer relations including inquiries and concerns  
• Run errands as necessary  
• Routine housekeeping of cabins including laundry and cleaning 
• Organize, assist (and lead) with miscellaneous projects and developments 
• Maintain equipment for the resort 
• Rental boat upkeep and maintenance  
 
Key Requirements: 
• Excellent Customer Service Skills 
• Must be friendly and knowledgeable in order to assist guests  
• Computer experience  
• Must be able to work well as a team and complement each other's skills  
• Previous Maintenance Experience  
• Ability to maintain and work resort equipment including but not limited to: boats, lawnmower and snow blower.  
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs.

All expenses are paid including utilities, vehicles, gas, and equipment. The team will also have access to all of the amenities that the resort has to offer. There is also financial compensation, which will commensurate with experience.
