FEATURED JOB OPENING: Remote Wilderness Cabin and Camp-ground Maintenance Team Wakeman Sound - British Columbia

Hello! We are looking for an adventurous and creative team who don't mind extreme isolation and cold winters. We have two wilderness cabins at the mouth of the Wakeman River BC in need of general maintenance, cleaning, some construction and painting as well as brushing around buidlings and some landscaping. The cabins are boat or plane/helicopter access only as there are no roads.

The cabins are heated with wood and so chainsaw skills are a must. Room and board will be provided, but you will be responsible for gathering your own firewood as well as building up a stash for future years (part of the job). General plumbing, electrical and handyman skills are essential as we harvest our own power (solar) and water. We would like the cabins to always be presentable and well maintained.

This would be a winter /spring position starting in 2022 as we would like to open up for rental to tourists in the late spring of 2023.The valley can be extremely cold in the winter.
