FEATURED JOB OPENING: Part-Time Floating/Assistant Management Couple - Kenmore, WA

Peoples Storage, a family-owned and operated Self Storage company in the greater Seattle metropolitan area, has an immediate opening for a couple as Floating Assistant Managers. Our Floating Assistant Manager (FAM) position features paid training and provides up to 3 days per week of work and leads to a full-time Residential Manager position providing substantial benefits and earning capabilities. Our compensation plan for FAMs includes:

• Paid hourly work as a team or as individuals (based on scheduling needs, at least one day as a team)
• A monthly bonus based on worked hours and performance
• Paid vacation days (based on schedule and hours worked)
• Mileage reimbursement (reliable transportation is a requirement)
• Flexible scheduling outside of the base schedule

This position becomes eligible for promotion to full time Residential Manager as our RM positions become available. The RM compensation plan includes:

• Generous compensation for a 39-hour work week
• 2 paid weeks of vacation per year

This position is ideal for the semi-retired couple needing to supplement their pensions and/or social security income.

The successful candidates will be a married or fully committed couple, semi-retired, physically fit (some light physical labor is involved), self-motivated (the work is unsupervised), with reliable transportation to move with flexibility between our 3 locations (Ballard, Kenmore, Everett), either as a couple or individually as needed. Experience in retail is a big plus, but not required. Computer skills are highly desired, but there is a contracted IT service for the heavy lifting. A desire to deliver extremely excellent customer service is mandatory, so a personable personality is a big plus.
