FEATURED JOB OPENING: Mountain Lodge Kitchen and Housekeeping Assistants - Lovell, WY

Beautiful vacation lodge high up in the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming seeking a dynamic duo! We are a somewhat small venue able to host between 30 and 40 guests at a time, and we have 3 full time staff members. We are looking for a couple or potentially a very energetic single to come and join our team this summer season, and possibly beyond. Our lodge is situated in a high alpine meadow 9,000 feet above sea level, surrounded by wildflowers, trout streams, moose, hiking trails and nearby waterfalls... a truley remote paradise with the nearest town of Lovell about a 45 minute drive away.

The main duties of the job include turning over rooms and cabins when the guests check out (doing laundry, making beds, cleaning bathrooms/toilets/floors/etc.), keeping the common areas clean, helping in the kitchen with food preperation and washing dishes, and providing our guests with friendly customer service. Ideally one member of the couple would be comfortable being in charge of preparing dinner and breakfast for the guests after a training period, and one member of the couple would be comfortable with basic handywork around the lodge. Above all else, we are looking for a friendly, hard working, customer service oriented couple who would enjoy living in a remote setting and happy to spend their time off together or solo. People with previous experience in hospitality would be fantastic, along with those who take pride in their work. The job does require being on your feet for most of the shift, so applicants must be in good physical fitness. Due to the distance between our lodge and the nearest town, it is required that the couple has their own reliable vehicle for transportation. 

The schedule consists of 40 hours/week per person with a minimum of 1.5 days off per person/per week to enjoy the outdoors. Salary is based on experience and will range between $2,000 - $2,500 per month per person. Housing is also provided onsite in a cozy log cabin with a private bathroom. All meals, laundry access, and wifi are included with the job. Start date will be between June 1, 2023 and June 15, 2023. End date of the job will be September 30th as we operate with only our 3 full time staff members for the months of October and November. For the right couple, there is the possibility to join us again for our winter season which begins in early December.
