FEATURED JOB OPENING: Married Houseparent Couple - Portales, NM

New Mexico Baptist Children's Home is a Christian organization which provides homes for children in the foster care system and for children whose family cannot care for them. NMBCH is currently seeking qualified married couples to fill an open position for houseparents. Houseparents have a tremendous opportunity to impact the next generation. Therefore, potential couples must have a gospel centered life and a calling to work with children from hard places.

Houseparents live in large homes provided on our campus and parent up to 9 resident children ages 5-18. Houseparents may also have up to 2 dependant children of their own and 2 pets (with some restrictions.)  Houseparents adhere to an appealing 16 days on and 8 days off schedule. Many decide to travel during their time off.
