FEATURED JOB OPENING: Marina Attendants/Caretakers - E. Cracroft Island, BC

We are a popular destination for recreational and commercial boaters. During a normal busy season, we will moor up to 20 boats a night. During the winter, commercial boats visit us for fuel and other amenities.

We have two, full time, year round positions available (for Canadian citizens or permanent residents only). We are looking for a couple, live-aboard boaters, who are outgoing, hard working, and enjoy interacting with a variety of personality types. These jobs involve an almost unlimited variety of tasks - among the most common are: customer service, maintenance, grounds-keeping, and cash register work along with some bookkeeping.

Due to the remote location, this is a live-in/on-site position for live aboard boaters. Utilities, internet access, and limited transportation to and from the Marina are included.

This is a year round salaried position $32,500 per person per year with two paid months off (Oct-April). The work changes according to the season, and while we would prefer a year round comitment, we would consider a summer only position (May-September). The summer is busy with minimal time off. The winter is fairly quiet, and offers the opportunity for extended time off. We are looking for a couple with a broad skill base who enjoy working outdoors, living remotely, and have the ability to work with all types of people.

Relevant experience is not as important as being kind, well-rounded, and hard-working.
