Situated 12 miles from the South entrance of Lassen Volcano National Park in Northern California our little resort called Mill Creek offers large doses of nature & freedom to explore & relax.  

JOB DESCRIPTION 

At Mill Creek Resort each of us is a Jack or Jill of all trades & jobs. We're currently seeking to fill positions in:

Housekeeping:

Provide thorough cleaning on cabins & additional accommodations.  May require heavy lifting.  

Guest Services:

Staff will be trained on our reservation & booking system, guest check-ins & outs, credit card & cash handling procedures and all information relating to the resort & local area. 

Restaurant Server:

Greeting and seating guests in the restaurant, taking orders, serving beer & wine, helping with food prep, washing dishes, & general cleaning duties. 

General Maintenance:

Must possess a valid and current driver's license. Perform maintenance or repair on interior & exterior of cabins and other facilities. Determine needed preventative maintenance and repair of plumbing systems, electrical systems, carpentry, etc.  Heavy lifting required. Groundskeeping including raking the campground area, burning & splitting wood.

ROOM & BOARD

We offer spaces in our RV park with full hookups. Payment for rent & utilities is a payroll deduction from bi-weekly paychecks. Payment amounts vary based on position & hours. Bring your own RV or the use of a resort RV may be available. Other local home rentals may be available.

Chester:  25 miles (28 minutes) 

Local full services: gas, grocery store & medical facilities

Redding: 64 miles ( 1.5 hours)

Chico: 65 miles (1.5 hours)

Red Bluff: 47 miles (45 minutes) 

Reno: 145 miles (2.5 hours) 

We strongly suggest bringing one's own vehicle which allows for flexibility to explore our beautiful area.
