FEATURED JOB OPENING: LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER/CARETAKER COUPLE - COLORADO

Busy professional couple with pets seek a caretaker/housekeeper couple for live-in position 

Our place is located midway between Pagosa Springs, Colorado and Chama, New Mexico.  Must be comfortable living 30 miles from nearest shopping and entertainment and legal to work in the U.S. Will consider one small well-mannered pet, but no children. Non-smoking, drug-free environment.Terrain requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Requires full background check and must be bondable.

We offer nice fully furnished separate housing with utilities provided in exchange for 15 hours per week of labor. Paid work up to $300 per week in addition. Nice fenced area for your own personal garden, and space inside our greenhouse for your year-round salad garden. We are near good skiing and mineral hot springs.

Qualities we are seeking:  Happy, energetic, optimistic, detail-oriented, congenial, honest, responsible, self-starting, respectful and motivated.  Must be very clean and neat in both in personal habits and in the maintenance of the property.

This position focuses on extensive house-keeping with attention to detail in 5,700 sq. ft. home. Some light cooking, weekly laundry and ironing, inventory and stocking of household supplies, scheduling of household maintenance and repairs, receiving parcels, possible errands and occasional grocery runs. 

Organic gardening and food harvesting, yard maintenance (flower gardening, lawn care, landscape maintenance). Assist with horse-keeping (will train for proper feeding and cleaning of stalls/barn) assist with snow removal, annual fence repairs, putting up hay in fall and house/pet sitting as needed.
