TIDES LLC is a locally owned company, founded and developed in 2014 by a married couple duo who have combined experience of over 35 years in the intellectual and developmental disability field. They started the company in the exact position this ad is recruiting for, so you don't have to worry about the support and experience the company's leadership can offer. The co-owner, Nikki, has worked within this home since it was built in 2006.

This position is located within a stunning home overlooking the Gastineau channel, called Harmony House, and offers a private apartment for the live-in couple. Two adult men, both experiencing a high level of caregiver needs, live within the home that is owned by their guardians. Between the two residents, you will be expected to assist with self care needs such as bathing, mealtime assistance, toileting, etc. This position requires teamwork, integrity, and dependability; cooking, cleaning, caring for the home, and managing/mentoring/developing a team of caregivers/direct support professionals.

We are seeking a two year commitment for a mature and experienced caregiving couple who have management experience. A key component of this experience will be to work with the owners to recruit/identify/manage/and develop their replacements at the end of the two year period. Upon successful completion of this contract, a bonus will be offered.
