We are seeking a professional innkeeping couple to operate our 14 room luxury country inn in beautiful Central Alberta. This is a full-time, live-in position perfect for a self motivated entrepreneurial couple with great generalist skills, a success oriented attitude and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality.   

Located in a peaceful rural location within 2 hours of Calgary and Edmonton, we have a solidly established business with an impressive repeat clientele and referral rate, upscale guest rooms, a 50-seat casual fine dining restaurant, meeting facilities and 150 acres of beautiful natural terrain.

The position requires mastery in all aspects of innkeeping including guest services, reservation management, staff hiring, management and scheduling, marketing, computer proficiency, breakfast preparation and service, food services management, event coordination, recordkeeping, purchasing, room staging and decorating, grounds maintenance and handyman abilities.

With the ability to build on the reputation of the restaurant, the position might be especially appealing to a professional chef or restauranteur, and his or her partner.

The successful candidates will collectively have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good judgment, tact and diplomacy, high energy, good health and the capacity to work long hours, excellent organization and time management skills, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the business is taken care of. You must have a good driving record, be drug-free, pass a background check, have outstanding character references and be well groomed.

The owners will provide all the support and direction needed to ensure the couple is completely comfortable with their role before they pursue their other business ventures and interests. Compensation includes a competitive salary, performance bonus, on site accommodation, all utilities, mileage and expenses and paid vacation. No pets or children and no smokers please.
