FEATURED JOB OPENING: Innkeepers - Chincoteague, VA

We are looking for a highly energetic, motivated, and customer service oriented couple to run a 16 room pet-friendly motel on Chincoteague Island, VA. On-site apartment and utilities provided. the motel also has a salt water pool.

This is a seasonal motel, but we remain open year-round. Busiest months are May thru August. Duties include taking reservations by phone, online and website, cleaning rooms, washing towels and sheets, general maintenance of the property, pool maintenance, excellent customer service, room rate maintenance on all marketing channels, website maintenance, and social media posting. 

Chincoteague Island, Virginia is known for its wild ponies made famous by Marguerite Henry's Misty of Chincoteague.  The island's ponies are managed by the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Department, which holds a carnival and pony auction each year in July.
