We are looking for a couple to work as interim General Managers to oversee operations of a 16 room boutique hotel. This job is from June - September although an earlier arrival is possible and preferable. This job includes housing. This job includes managing a team of housekeepers, and ensuring that our guests are well cared for. We pride ourselves on being an excellent place to work in a very cool downtown historic building that we care for lovingly.
Our General Manager had a baby in June of 2021 and is hoping to work a lot less hours so she and her husband can care for their three young children and enjoy their summer. You will report to her but she will mostly be working part time remotely. She will provide training. I am the owner and am available as well for training and consultation. Together, we are a great team and prioritize making sure we all get to enjoy the beauty of Juneau in the summer as well as make sure our guests have an incredible stay.
We have a more formal job description but using this service is a new idea for us so we aren't sure it would be completely correct. We are looking forward to talking more and figuring out how to make sure 2022 is the best summer ever. We all need it!
