FEATURED JOB OPENING: Houseparents - Jacksonville, FL

Florida Baptist Children’s Homes, is a private, not-for-profit organization. Our mission is to provide Christ-centered services to children and families in need. We are currently seeking married, Christian couples to fill the roles of primary houseparents at our Jacksonville, Fl. Campus and throughout the state of Florida.

This is a live-in residential cottage position for married couples only. Marriage for at least two years is a bona-fide occupational qualification for this position. Houseparents take a Christ-centered, Biblically based, team approach in assuming the parental role for up to10 children at a time, while also managing overall cottage operations. Primary responsibilities include providing a caring and nurturing environment by consistently modeling Christian values, exemplifying strong moral character, and providing for social, educational, emotional and physical needs.

Compensation is compatible with local market and experience. Private housing and basic living expenses are included. This position requires, strong commitment and passion to having a positive impact in the lives of children. Necessary skills for success include planning, organization, time management, communication and compassion.
