FEATURED JOB OPENING: Housekeeper, Caretaker, Domestic Couple - Woodside, CA

Energetic couple sought to care for 5 acre estate in Northern California that has potential to be world class. Responsibilities will include all maintenance, repair, housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and cleaning necessary to keep our property in top condition. Care for the grounds including oversight of tree maintenance and landscaping will also be necessary. 

We seek a couple with high standards who will solve problems seamlessly and continually improve the condition of our home. Learning and managing all mechanical and control systems will be necessary and managing the appropriate vendors for repair and improvements will be required. Identifying opportunities for improvements will be appreciated. Support for entertaining and occasional meal preparation is also desirable. These are "hands on" positions more than managerial. The successful couple will perform a significant portion of the work directly, hiring contractors only as necessary.

We travel frequently, spend summers away, and our college age children are only home occasionally. Flexibility, resourcefulness, initiative, and a generally positive disposition will all be much appreciated. We are a fun-loving, relaxed and casual couple and we treat our staff with respect and courtesy.

This opportunity includes a small one bedroom caretaker's cottage in a vineyard setting with utilities paid. The property also has ample gardening resources for fresh vegetables/herbs/flowers which would be a welcome addition to our home. Relevant experience and strong positive references are requirements.
