FEATURED JOB OPENING: House Parents/Single Parent - Southport, NC

Providence Home is a six-bed, non-therapeutic emergency shelter for teens, located in coastal Southport, NC. We are seeking a married couple or Single person who will function as Residential Child Care Workers (House Parents) providing care, guidance, and support for youth ages, 10-17. Previous youth care experience is preferred; high school diploma or GED required. Applicants must have a valid Driver’s License and an excellent driving record, be able to pass criminal background checks, and be able to work 7 days on and 7 days off schedule.

House Parents are responsible for 24 hour care and supervision of residents. Duties include preparing meals, transporting residents to approved activities, ensuring the home is compliant with state licensing requirements, working closely with Case Manager, perform light maintenance in the home, maintain upkeep of the grounds, and maintain accurate records.
