Living Hope opened in 2022 as Georgia's first maternity supportive housing residence.  The ministry offers a safe, stable, and loving environment for pregnant moms facing housing insecurity.  Moms are able to prepare for birth, recover from pregnancy, and prepare for their future.  We offer a 5-phase program, providing structure and accountability, to support transformation in seven (7) key areas of development:

  • Christian Life Growth
  • Pregnancy/Parenting Support, Education, and Mentorship
  • Financial
  • Education & Vocational
  • Independent Living Skills
  • Health & Wellness
  • Family/Relational Growth   

We are seeking a Christian couple to serve as House Parents in our home for expectant and new mothers (18 years and older).  House Parents work under the direction of the House Manager to oversee the daily functions of the home while modeling a healthy marriage relationship and exemplifying the compassion of Christ for each mom and baby.  Some of the duties include home and property maintenance, maintaining a household calendar and schedule of chores, transporting residents as needed, overseeing the food budget and supply, conducting daily family devotionals, attending weekly team meetings, and planning fun, family activities.  House Parents live rent-free in an onsite, furnished, one bedroom apartment. Utilities are included. There is a no pet policy.  Benefits include PTO, HRA, Life, Dental, Vision, and a Simple IRA. 

House Parents must have a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ, be committed to the pro-life position and sexual purity, and be called to help fulfill our mission.  Candidates should be at least 25 years of age, financially responsible, and willing to live at Living Hope.  A college education and ministry experience are preferred.  Interested couples should have excellent interpersonal skills as well as the following:

  • Healthy sense of humor and fun
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Ability to offer grace and truth appropriately
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to problem solve and adapt to change and unexpected circumstances

  • Ability to exercise self-control
  • Ability to persevere and forbear with joy
  • Ability to work within and maximize a limited budget
  • Good understanding of Biblical principles and application
  • Ability to remain neutral regarding adoption vs. parenting
