Mercy’s Door Youth Homes is seeking a couple that can join with us to meet the need of children in care. The House Parent Couple must be creative, consistent, patient, compassionate, and serious about responsibility.

Mercy’s Door is ran proudly by Christ centered principles. Our challenge as a team is to minister to the “whole” child; spiritual, physical, intellectual, creative, emotional, and social.

Mercy’s Door has two boy’s homes and one girl’s home. Our House Parents are off one day a week and two weekends per month. This is a full-time position that includes a salary, housing, food, utilities and paid time off. Previous child experience preferred; must be at least 24 years of age; high school diploma or GED required. All qualified candidates will need to submit to DCFS licensing requirements which include: criminal background check, driving record check, physical, and notarized documents.
