FEATURED JOB OPENING: Hotel Managers - Republic of Panama

On the tropical shores of the Republic of Panama, a successful boutique hotel is seeking a stable couple to be hotel managers. 

Bocas del Mar Hotel has 20 rooms, a thriving quality on-site restaurant, an awesome location and is one of the best-rated small hotels in Central America according to TripAdvisor.  The international guests come mainly from North America and Europe.

 An initial contract of 2 years is offered, with attractive accommodations and some meals included.

This is an amazing and challenging lifetime opportunity for a hardworking, stable couple, who love rural, quiet environments, enjoy hosting guests (and have experience to prove it) and can speak both English & Spanish well. It is ideal for those who would like to run their own boutique hotel business without the set up investment.  

The hotel is part of a European family company group in Panama with European management. There are about 25-30 staff across all departments to manage. 

THESE ARE THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POST. Please only apply if you meet these:- 

- Both fluent to a very good level in English and Spanish (spoken) and at least one or both fluent in written. Please state language ability in your reply, otherwise we will not get back to you.

- Three years working in a hotel (or in a very similar environment, such as a busy customer-facing destination tour operator)

- Two years managing and motivating staff - ideally in other countries & cultures

- Established couple who have lived and worked together in the past, ideally away from their home country

- Driving license and used to driving often (at least one of the couple)

- Not suitable for people traveling with children. 

- Non smokers prefered

- Understanding of basic modern home office systems, like Microsoft Office software

- Love outdoors, back country life -  we are in a stunning, oceanside rural location with a diverse team of coworkers on site but the nearest city and all its amenities are 50 minutes away, so you have to want to live and work in a rural environment.
