Hunting season (October through February):
- Extended hours during hunting season
- Assist Wildlife Manager (tagging birds, coordinating guests)
- Event coordination with youth hunts, including overnight events
- Plan, shop, cook and serve at special events ie. Fundraisers, educational or community events
- Keep kitchen stocked as required by Wildlife Manager & hunters
- Cook breakfast and/or lunch daily
- Dinners will be on an as needed basis with advance notice
- Clean clubhouse and Adobe House interiors at least weekly and after guests
- Clean and stock check-in room during hunting season
- Coordinate the maintenance of hunting vehicles
- Maintain buildings and grounds; yards for the Clubhouse, Adobe, Caretaker house (including but not limited to: mowing lawns, weeding, pruning and watering)
- Provide onsite security (patrol yard and make sure gates are locked)
- Oversee duck plucking operation (perform task as necessary)
Off season (March through September):
- Assist ranch management with guests and youth activities, not limited to overnight camping trips and youth camps, hikes and educational programs
- Clean clubhouse and Adobe House interiors at least weekly and after guests
- Maintain yard (mowing lawns, weeding, watering, sprinkler repair)
- Maintain and repair buildings and grounds
- Provide onsite security (patrolling yard, making sure gates are locked)
- Keep kitchen stocked as required by Ranch Management
- Plan, shop, cook and serve at special events ie. Fundraisers, educational and community events
- Cook dinners and or lunch on an as needed basis with advance notice
Salary DOE
Benefits include:Housing and Utilities- Value $1500/mo, Company vehicle & Fuel-Value $500/mo, Medical, Dental and Vision which the Company pays 50%-Value $700/mo plus SALARY RANNGE of $40,000-$45,000 per couple. Paid Vacation, Holidays, and 401K.
Location: Woodland, California is a small rural city in Northern California. Just an hour and a half from San Francisco, less than three hours to Lake Tahoe and twenty minutes to Sacramento; providing many outdoor and cultural activities very near by.
