FEATURED JOB OPENING: Farm Manager/Assistant Innkeeper Couple - NW Pennsylvania

Maple Hill Farm Bed and Breakfast  is a 50 acre farm on a lake in the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania. In addition to providing upscale lodging in a peaceful country atmosphere with natural beauty, we also try to provide our guests with as much homegrown farm food as possible. We are seeking a Farm Caretaker/Assistant Innkeeper Couple to help us with our sustainable Farm Bed and Breakfast.

The ideal couple would have a variety of experiences including farm animals, farm equipment, vegetable and fruit production, as well as being willing to provide positive attention, hospitality, customer service, and educational sharing with Guests of the Farm. As a small business, all employees wear multiple hats and may be expected to perform any or all of the following duties:

• provide overall farm support, maintainance of grounds and farm buildings
• provide handyman services for repairs
• obtain and organize building materials and tools
• assist with landscaping and lawn
• caretaker of animals and barn including lifting 50 pound bags of feed or hay
• garden and growing activities
• assist running Bed and Breakfast
• provide hospitality, checking in guests, carrying guests luggage
• assist in the kitchen including foor preparation, storage, serving, cooking, and baking
• provide housekeeping and laundry services
• provide personal assistance to Owners and Owners residence including pets
• provide property caretaking when Owners are absent
