FEATURED JOB OPENING: Domestic Couple for Historic Chateau Near Bordeaux, France for Family Use and Rental - Bordeaux 35 KM to the East

Professional gay male couple with two sons is looking for an energetic, flexible and discreet live in couple that is highly presentable (for purposes of welcomeing B and B and rental cleints), with caretaker experience and ideally hospitaslity experience to manage the grounds and chateau interior and exterior and help launch successful rental activity.  Work to include the garden, cleaning, maintenance, some cooking and divers duties and services - all on a beautiful 36HA property approximately 60mns from Bordeaux near Castillon-La-Bataille & St Emilion - with Bordeaux easilty accdesib le by car or train (train station 7 KM from the chateau).

The positions involve: being the main house keeper with the ability to manage others hired in on a temporary basist, as well as managing room changing and preparation, as required, gardening & care of the flower and produce gardens, general maintenance, handy man jobs, taking care of the pool, assiting with build out of exgterior hardscape and landscape.  There will also be some cooking and preperation of breakfasts for the family when in residence and for guests - or oversight of hired cooks when the chateau is rented.

Applicants need to be self motivated, presentable and welcoming, ideally have experience in a similar position with references, have a high quality of work, a great love of nature and hosptiality service, be dependable and trustworthy and enjoy living in a beatuful rual setting.

A percentasge of rental income on successful launch of a rental business at the chateau is possible.

Must be french or english speaking,  Both a plus but not a requisite.  Must have the necessary permits to work in France and a drivers licence.
