FEATURED JOB OPENING: Couple to Manage Farm - Dallastown, PA

Highbourne farm is looking for a married couple to manage farm and home.  We raise red deer and have farming partners that raise crops on our two farms.  We sell venison to restaurants on the East Coast and firewood.  The main house is medium sized, and the  managers have a rent free three bedroom house with garage on the property.

Responsibilities include livestock management, coordiation with our USDA slaughter and processing vender, coordination with farming partners, maintenance and repairs, (outside and inside) housekeeping, marketing, sales, order prossing,, purchasing and accounting.   We have two full time hands, two seasonal gardeners and some part time people.

Benefits include, rent free, three-bedroom home on the farm (that includes the farm office) two weeks paid time off, salary is inclusive of a contribution for health insurance of up to $60 per week, seven paid holidays, pension plan, farm truck, access to pool and horses for recreation.  Compensation depends upon skills of applicants
