We are presently seeking a Community Manager (Preferably a Couple - Office/Maint. Mgmt. Team) for one of our Illinois communities, to manage the daily administration, operation, and personnel of the manufactured home community in an efficient, professional, and profitable manner.
As a Community Manager, you will:
· Maintain positive relations with residents and employees.
· Handle and resolve resident/customer service issues in a timely and professional manner.
· Maintain properties to ensure they look their best at all times.
· Manage the rent collection process, including depositing income from home sites and filing to collect on delinquent debts.
· Oversee the eviction process for your community with the assistance of your SVP.
· Attract new residents and retain current residents to increase the occupancy rate.
· Manage all aspects of leasing.
· Maintain the community by conducting ground and building inspections.
· Motivate and manage a small staff of employees.
· Oversee capital expenditure improvements and Other duties and projects as assigned.
· Coordinate maintenance issues and work orders on inventory occupied/vacant homes.
· Manage and organize paperwork flow to corporate office.
Minimum Requirements
· 2 years of property management experience with proven management skills.
· Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
· Detailed-orientated and the ability to multitask and problem solve.
· Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook; Rent Manager experience is a plus.
· Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws pertaining to fair housing and employment law
· Ability to be flexible and work evenings and weekends
· Valid Operator's license required.
· General knowledge of repair and maintenance duties.
· Solid negotiation skills.
