FEATURED JOB OPENING: Caretaker(s) - Craig, AK

We believe our lodge is located in the most beautiful part of this country. We are a floating lodge on salt water in a cove off the Alaska coast. Our lodge is very popular and booked 2 years in advance. We need a responsible couple to watch over our lodge while we go visit our family and friends this winter. We will need you from September 10 to April 3. We built a new crew/caretakers quarters this past spring. We are totally off grid but have generator, inverter system, internet, great wood stove with firewood already cut plus all the food you will need for the winter. You will also have a boat that you can use for fishing and exploring our area. The pay is $1,000 per month plus your housing, food and internet.

You will be alone most of the winter so it is important that you and your spouse realize that. If you have one dog, that is not a problem. We do have a 50" flat screen with hundreds of movies. We do not hire smokers or heavy drinkers. Havng experience in country living and lots of common sense and able to do any light duty maintenance is important.
