Blakely Island Maintenance Commission Caretaker

Island community seeks full-time caretaker with current water operator license (preferably WA Level II Water Operator license but may consider providing additional education for the right candidate), as well as broad maintenance knowledge. Duties include maintenance and operation of water treatment plant, water wells development, pump house, fire house, post office, runway, roads, vehicle and equipment maintenance, general maintenance and heavy lifting.

Compensation package includes living rent-free in a beautiful home with panoramic views of the San Juan Islands, with all utilities paid, and a truck. In addition, there is a monthly stipend to help defray personal costs for health insurance and other expenses. Competitive salary depending on experience and qualifications.
