WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
General Park Operations Couples
We have many opportunities for full and partial season Volunteers and full season Workcampers.
Duties include assisting park staff with day-to-day operations and maintenance tasks. These can include staffing the park office, cleaning campsites and restrooms, mowing lawns, landscaping, painting and general upkeep of park facilities. Volunteers and Workcampers may serve as the emergency contact overnight one to two weeknights per week while the resident park ranger is off duty.
Volunteers provide 30 hours of service per week and receive a FHU campsite and propane fills while volunteering; 6 week minimum stay required, full season preferred. Volunteers receive free admission and camping at all Vermont State Parks. All volunteers receive on the job training for all duties.
Workcamping opportunities available in select locations. 40 hours/week, $12.55/hr. Some locations can provide paid positions for both people. Full season required. Campsite provided as housing; utilities may vary by location.
