FEATURED JOB OPENING: Botanical Sanctuary and Organic Garden Maintenance - Trail, OR

Seeking a couple, or individual to live-on property. This oppportunity is for those who are seeking a peaceful, private lifestyle and enjoy working outdoors.  Seeking self-starters, problem-solvers and learners with a land stewards temperment.  Prior recent experience preferred. Each person is encouraged to contribute their gifts to the stewardship, care and beautification of the Sanctuary. We are an 11 acre organic farm and botanical sanctuary in a protected creekfront location.

Part Time work in exchange for RV living or RV/Tiny Home lot and private fenced yard on a lovely, private creek front sanctuary in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. 

Internet, power, sewer service and water are included. We have a 2016 covered 30ft super slide Coleman Lantern Trailer with a fenced yard. We are rural forest, closest town is 20 minutes away, closest Walmart 40, closest Costco 1 hour. We have a spot for a tiny home or RV if you would like to stay in your own accomodations. 

Requirements:  Ability to lift a minium of 50lbs and do farm chores like mucking horse stable, shoveling, using clippers on shrubbery, cutting wood, watering and other care of the garden and grounds. Experience with native herbs and organic gardening a great assest but not required.

Responsibilities: Care and maintenance of chickens, goats and horse, gardening, irrigation, maintenance, lawn care, weeding, pruning, fertilizing, fruit tree care, cleaning, canning, harvesting, drying etc   All equipment and tools needed are provided. 

Must have experience working with tools, animals and all weather outdoor work.   Approx. 30 hour total hours per week.  This opportunity is best fit for those who are looking to get away from the fray, stay active and productive, and enjoy rural living in a gorgeous forest location. Sample schedule is as follows:   Monday - Friday 9am - noon (2 people x 3 hours a day each) and Saturday & Sunday 9-10:15am (2 people x 1.25 hours each).   Best fit for applicants with income from independent sources such as remote working, retirement, pension, other. There is an abundance of jobs available in our area. We have a Youtube Channel and Instagram page so if you are savvy with that it is always appreiciate. Our mission is to educate the public and especially children about living sustainably with a close connection to nature. 

Pets considered. We have a senior dog and two rambuncous puppies under 3 years old as well as, a cat. This is a year round position or winter off and one year minimum commitment is required with a 1 month initial compatibility trial. Long term potential for the right individuals.

RV lot is 100 x 100 with power, water, sewer service and internet. It also has a fenced yard.

RV/Tiny Home parking spot is 30 x 20 with power, water, sewer service and internet.
