Make a daily difference! Together with their spouses, Houseparents are live-in caregivers, role models and mentors for the students entrusted in their care. Houseparents nurture a structured, yet family-like atmosphere in a School home for 8 to 12 students from financial and social need. They foster quality interactions with students to help each one to grow and fulfill their potential.

Houseparents oversee the basics of the students’ daily lives: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual care, as well as provide ongoing guidance and mentoring. They also are able to collaborate with teachers, administrators and sponsors to facilitate student success.

Requirements include:

• Committed to and skilled in positively influencing children and youth.
• Experience working with students from poverty a plus.
• Couple must meet age and family status requirements.
• Must have valid driver’s licenses in good standing.
