FEATURED JOB OPENING: Assistant Managers/Cooks/Housekeepers - Lovell, WY

Beautiful Mountain Lodge Seeking Dynamic Duo!

We are a small (30-35 guest and 3 full time staff) vacation lodge at 9,000 feet up in the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming. We’re looking for a couple or very energetic single to join our team for this summer season and possibly beyond! The location of the lodge is stunning, situated in a high alpine meadow with wildlife, waterfalls, trout and wild flowers all around. We are very remote, and the nearest town of Lovell is 45 minutes away. 

The main duties of the job include turning over rooms and cabins when guests check out (doing laundry, making beds, cleaning bathrooms/toilets/floors, etc), keeping the common areas clean, food prep and washing dishes, and providing guests with friendly customer service. At least one member of the couple (or preferably both people) should be comfortable in the kitchen, and after a training period, be able to make dinners for small groups of guests on occasion without supervision. Ideally, one of the members of the couple would be handy with basic mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry and be comfortable doing work outside on the grounds.  The schedule is flexable and varies somewhat based on bookings but is about 40 hours per week per person, with at least 1.5 days off per week.  Couple can have days off together!

Above all else, we need positive, friendly, hard working, customer service oriented couple for the job that are okay being 45mins from the nearest town and okay spending time off with eachother or solo. Previous experience in hospitality would be great!  We are looking for people who genuinely enjoy doing a good job and take pride in their work. We are at high altitude and the job requires being on your feet most of your shift, so applicants must be in good physical fitness.

For compensation, we offer a salary, a portion of gratuties, as well as room and board. The couple or single will be provided with a private, clean and cozy camper located onsite at our lodge that has a bathroom and is hooked up to water, power and heat. All meals, laundry access for personal use, and WiFi are also provided with the job. Each person will receive between $2000-$2500/month in salary based on experience.  Start date is as soon as possible, and end date is roughly October 31st. We can be somewhat flexible with the dates. For the right couple, there is the ability to stay on at the lodge beyond Oct 31st and work for our winter season which is a completely different and snowy experience!
