FEATURED JOB OPENING: Animal Caretaker (or Couple) - Dahlonega, GA

We are looking for an individual or a couple to live on our farm around the North Georgia mountains to help take care of our animals. We have horses, dogs and a few cats. We are needing someone who has a lot of experience and is skilled at working with groups of dogs. We want someone who will show them a lot of love as well one who knows how to take authority and to help create a safe and secure environment for our dogs and cats.  We would like for someone with experience working with horses.

Good organizational skills are very important as well as being able to follow thru on tasks and keep things clean. Good health is very important This is a unique live in position where you would be a “house Mom and/or Dad” to our “babies”. As you can imagine this is a busy job and your main focus and priority is making sure they are well cared for and safe and secure. We will be very picky in who we choose because these special guys and gals deserve the best.

Requirements: • Must have a love and caring for animals • Experience caring for groups of different kinds of dogs at once • Must be flexible and willing to help out wherever the needs are • Honest, dependable • A good attitude is very important… • Works well with others and is not afraid of hard work • Good physical health with no back lifting issues. • Self-starter who doesn’t require constant oversight. • Equipment operation skills are a plus like a mower • Must possess a valid driver’s license. GED or High school degree is a plus, but not mandatory • The applicant must be drug free and not have any destructive vices and be able to pass a drug test if asked to do so • Background check will be conducted
