Farm Couple Needed - North Carolina

Need a full time couple to live onsite and maintain a developing 4 acre vegetable plot for a non-profit farm, with the possibility of an additional 8 acres in development. Plenty of organic material available for the fields. No animals are currently raised on the farm.

Knowledge with organic crops and irrigation required. There are wells on site, tractors and other equipment.

Housing provided, can be furnished or unfurnished depending on your needs. Utilities and Internet acess provided.

Area is remote, surrounded by forest and parkland. The total area of the property is over 5000 acres.

The Property Manager is onsite only once a week as he has several other properties to maintain so self starters are required.  Must be able to work with Volunteers as they become available in the spring and summer.

Stipend is provided plus a percentage of crop sales through local sources and farmers markets.
