Farm Couple - Ipswich, MA

Seeking a farm couple to run a 40 acre farm in Ipswich, MA. Responsible for overseeing the

operation of all farming activities including planning, managing, and tracking on all associated tasks.

The initial focus will be on raising the existing hay fields to horse quality hay and managing an onsite

compositing operation.

We follow sustainable organic practices such as crop rotation and soil

fertility management. Other responsibilities may include other projects around the farm such as:

orchard, honey bees, laying hens, vegetable and flower garden, and management of seasonal

employees. The farm is evolving and growing and we are looking for someone to leverage their

experience and passion in our team environment. Communication skills and flexibility are

critical. We brainstorm, collaborate, and work as a team. This is a year-round salaried position with

beautiful onsite housing provided.
