Experienced Inn Keeper Couple to manage a beautiful ocean front Inn - Mendocino, CA

We seek an enthusiastic inn keeping couple to create memorable experiences for our valued guests. Our beautiful ocean front property includes the main house and 8 cottages scattered on two acres of coastal grounds. A love for the historic town of Mendocino, California’s and its myriad of outdoor and related activities will be the starting point for successful applicants.

The position involves all aspects of inn keeping:  reservations (knowledge of reservation software a real plus),  guest services, record keeping, great phone skills, breakfast service including baking, supervision of housekeeping staff as well as some hands-on housekeeping, supplies management, building maintenance, gardening and outstanding customer service skills.

The owners are regularly involved, but our new innkeeper should bring a true owner’s mentality to the position. This is a challenging yet rewarding venture for outgoing, hardworking, detail oriented, gracious individuals with outstanding communication skills.

Our staff includes the following part time employees: two housekeepers, two inn keepers, and one maintenance person.

Compensation includes monthly salary, performance bonus opportunity, paid vacation, on-site quarters, utilities. No pets, no children and no smokers please. Position provides for 8 weeks of working and then one week off.
