Estate Manager Couple - Malakoff, TX STILL SEARCHING FOR PERFECT COUPLE!

Seeking an organized, and self-directed couple with a positive attitude. The couple will oversee maintenance on the primary residence, the caretaker’s residence, guest house/garage, all outbuildings, grounds, equipment, and animals on a 250-acre ranch. This position is for a family’s second residence and requires that the couple live on site. A 3-bedroom, house is provided for the job, as well as work vehicles and work cell phones.

When the family is in residence or during special events, the schedule is full time with some overtime required. When the family is not in residence, schedule is flexible and as needed. You will manage a grounds crew and housekeepers. Be able to plan and host events and coordinate caterers and all crew (5 full time employees including maitenance and housekeepers) When the family is visiting, the managers will cook meals with aid of two employees. Family home style cooking.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: * oversee employees who: maintain the property to the highest standard, Provide security,  Maintain all vehicles including cars, trucks, tractor, ATVs, motorcycles, boats, Handle preventive maintenance and repair on all buildings, Handle preventive maintenance and repair work for all equipment.

Work with contractors for upkeep and repair of estate as needed. * Organize, manage and restock household inventories. Grocery and supply shopping, as needed. * Mangers will do meal plans and cook (with aids of two housekeepers who are very familiar with the cooking requirements) for when the main family is visiting and for family events. You will manage caterers for large events. * Assist in clean up during special events and dinners, as required. * Oversee care of horses and exotics. * Arrange for delivery and storage of hay each season. * Purchase and restock other food including grain, as needed.

Requirements: COUPLES ONLY, prefer no children.

Valid driver’s license Willing to work over holidays and have your holidays scheduled after or before. knowledge of plumbing, electrical and technical systems OR ability to manage contractors Ability to work with minimal direction Strong project follow through. Ability to pass thorough background check. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. No criminal background.
