Estate Caretaker Couple - Hobe Sound, Florida

Property:        Eight acre waterfront estate on Florida’s Gold Coast consists of two main residences, a caretaker’s residence, two swimming pools, a tennis court, a boat dock and acres of estate gardens.

                        Live on Premises (single-bedroom, caretaker’s residence)

                        Honesty and Reliability

                        Attention to Detail

                        Handyman Skills

                        Horticultural Skills

                        Outside Contractor Oversight

                        Light Accounting and Money-handling Skills

Duties & Responsibilities: Directly or Indirectly

                        Manage the property and care for the improvements.

Maintain the structures – roofs, windows, doors, locks, screens,

dock, pools, etc.

Maintain all transportation equipment, including cars, boats, jet skis,

& golf carts.

Maintain other equipment: HVAC, pool heaters and pumps, alarm,

electric, sprinkler, telecommunications, kitchen, & other.

Maintain the landscape: lawn, flower, shrub and tree care.

                        Close and secure guest structures for hurricane season.

                        Open guest houses for the season (Nov 1 – June 30)

                        Clean houses (weekly, off-season; daily, in-season)

Daily property walk-through to ensure security and equipment and

systems functioning.

                        Keep records and books of expenditures and manage house

money and checking account.

                        During family visits: Be on-call

                                    Grocery shopping prior to arrival and during visit

                                    Purchase and arrange flowers prior to visit

                                    Laundry during and after visit

                                    Run errands upon request

Compensation package:

                        Salary - $70,000 per annum

                        Caretaker residence

                        Three weeks paid vacation (off season or between visits)
