HIRING: Domestic Couple for a lake front home in Sacramento 

 Domestic Couple for an informal residence located in the Sacramento area. The successful applicants will be responsible for the domestic/handy operation of the residence and are seeking a long-term (5+ years) placement 

 Primary Responsibilities

• Management of daily housekeeping, including hands-on support while the 2 part-time housekeepers are off which includes dusting, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning and care of fine furnishings, fixtures, fabrics, finishes, and surfaces for 8,000 sq ft home
• If needed daily laundry, ironing and steaming; wardrobe management packing and unpacking
• Special projects include, but not limited to, quarterly deep cleans, household cupboard and closet cleaning and reorganization
• Preparing some meals; this includes menu planning with the principal and kitchen clean-up afterward
• Planning and assisting with private dinners and social gatherings at the home
• Household inventory and grocery shopping
• Excellent communication skills, politely and professionally greet guests, answer the telephone and record messages, receive packages
• Management and supervision of vendors and trades for regular maintenance, seasonal maintenance and other special projects
• Management and monitoring of household mechanical systems as well as household inventories and security while the principal is away
• Other duties as required from time to time
• All handyman needs, if work is out of the scope of handyman, then calling vendors to bid and do job. 
• Excellent management of outside vendors and housekeepers/landscapers/poolman. Maintain and establish good relationships with vendors always keeping the principals in mind when dealing with vendors and representing them well. 

 Qualifications

• Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills; correct use of products and methods for fine finishes, fixtures, surfaces and fabrics
• Must possess excellent time management skills, be punctual, courteous, possess keen attention to detail and follow through on all projects assigned
• Applicants should be energetic and able to anticipate the needs of Principals
• Must maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times, exercising diplomacy, discretion and respect of boundaries
• Must have a driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the United States
