Domestic Couple - Live in - NY State and Martha's Vineyard
Experienced, meticulous, proactive and hands on Domestic couple needed for Elegant Country Style Farmhouse in Upstate New York.
The NY home is approx. 5500 sq. ft filled with antiques and vintage furniture. Summers are spent on beautiful Martha’s Vineyard.
Duties
- Day-to-day management of all aspects of the home, working closely with the family, representing them and liaising with all suppliers and service providers
- Ensure home is guest ready at all times
- Light cooking and prep required – knowledge of formal serving a plus
- Full housekeeping duties – cleaning laundry etc.
- Ordering/ Shopping for all household needs including supplies and food items
- Pool oversight
- Driving on occasion
- Assisting with cooking as needed
- General home maintenance
- Assist with occasional entertaining
Required
- True service mentality
- Prior experience working as a couple in a large home
- Excellent communication and organization ability
- Familiar with caring for high end furnishings and finishes
- Child and animal friendly
- Computer savvy
Family typically spend 3-4 days weekly at property – working weekends are essential
