Domestic Couple (live-in) - Narragansett, RI

Year round opportunity to work as a live in couple to manage a Narragansett, RI estate.  Accommodations in a private, furnished guest house on the premises are available for two adults.  An automobile will be available for use in meeting work responsibilities. Only non-smokers need apply.

•    Willing to work hard throughout summer season (long hours- 6 days a week)
•    This is not a 9-5 position, you must be flexible and able to be on call
•    Ability to work on weekends during the summer and occasionally on some holidays 
•    Valid driver's license and clean driving record
•    Have a strong command of the English language: verbal and written communication with corporate and management staff is essential
•    Prefer minimum of 2 years related work experience within a private residence
•    Excellent references from both current and previous employers
•    Ability to conduct hands on maintenance as necessary
•    Ability to produce brief written reports on a weekly basis
•    Potential for Seasonal travel
•    Legally able to work in the United States

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

1.    Daily Housekeeping of main residence as well as seasonal cleaning projects
2.    Laundry/Ironing
3.    Maintain and organize wardrobe and closet
4.    Packing for travel and unpacking after travel
5.    Daily meal planning and preparation
6.    Pantry and bathroom inventory and organization
7.    Various household errands
8.    Driving/Chauffeuring 
9.    Vehicle care
10.    Outdoor pool and patio maintenance
11.    Upkeep of household electronics
12.    Light landscaping/snow removal
13.    Plant vegetable garden and maintain
14.    Plant and maintain other annual flowers as instructed
15.    Assisting with pet care for two small dogs
16.    Maintaining complete indoor and outdoor appearance of the home
17.    General handyman services/home maintenance tasks (indoor/outdoor)
18.    Maintain house maintenance records
19.    Maintain home for guest readiness at all times
20.    Handling special requests and related duties as needed
21.    Liaising with and overseeing vendors and contractors
22.    Six day work week is expected May-October.  Five days for remainder of the year.

This is a salaried position and compensation depends on experience.
