Job description:

 

Our client is looking for a formally trained couple that has years of experience working together. The couple is expected to handle all duties of caretaking for a large residence in the city.

 

As a team, couple will need to provide “white glove” formal services & entertainment of guests, manage all vendors & contractors, maintenance of all house items & vehicles, manage home inventories, and upkeep of antiques & historical items.

 

When Principal is in residence there will need to be heavy coverage in order to attend to all of the Principal’s needs.

 

• Main duties for the man: Prefer a formally trained Butler, but will consider candidate with comparable experience. Needs to be comfortable with Butler services, professional appearance and professional behavior at all times. Will need to occasionally act as a driver for the Principal when in residence.

 

• Main duties for the woman: Highly skilled housekeeper to handle all daily cleaning tasks and laundry. Occasional light cooking while Principal is in residence if Chef is not on duty.

 

Job Requirements:

 

• Classic skill set required from the couple, 8-10 years in similar role

• Position is Live-In only, prefer a couple who are already based in NYC (would definitely consider out-of-state candidates)

• Clean & safe driving records are a must

• The woman’s cooking skills must be at a good level

• Must be legal to work in the USA, the client will not sponsor for work visa application
