Fantastic opportunity for Gardener/Maintenance & Housekeeper Couple in a village near Chelmsford, Essex.

The recently purchased property is home to an informal, friendly and welcoming family with grown up children and their dog. The property and grounds are currently undergoing a complete renovation and the family seek a Couple to join them on their new and exciting journey. The chosen Couple should have a muck-in attitude and be confident to liaise with any contractors on site. Gardening duties will include the general upkeep and maintenance of the grounds (part time help will be made available if required), household maintenance, upkeep of the swimming pool, tennis courts, cleaning windows, vehicle care and lighting fires. The housekeeper is required to take on all general housekeeping duties, running errands, sewing when required, grocery shopping/deliveries and occasional meal preparation. 

The successful couple should be pet friendly and happy to on a rare occasion, to dog/house sit when the principals are not in residence. Working hours: Monday – Friday 8am-5.30pm with flexibility to work 3-4 Saturday’s a year when the family entertain.

Private, offsite accommodation within the village will be provided to suit the Couples requirements, dependents and pets considered. Salary on offer of around £60kgpa depending on accommodation sought. Interviewing now, with a flexible start date for the perfect couple.
