Doggie Daycare & Boarding Facility - Taos, NM

Exciting opportunity to manage a premier doggie daycare/boarding facility. We are looking for a full time managment couple to manage the day to day operations of our dog daycare and pet boarding facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing employees and scheduling
• Manage the day to day operations of the facility
• Address and problem solve client concerns and issues
• Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures
• Achieve revenue and client satisfaction targets
• Assist in strategically planning revenue strategies, human resource needs and operations
• Advanced level Customer Service
• Controlling expenditure through proper scheduling of staffing hours
• Interview dogs for socially acceptable behavior
• Monitor dog health
• Maintaining equipment and overall facility to ensure all in working order.
• Monitor supplies & retail inventory
• Assist in promoting and marketing the business to current and prospective clients

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in hospitality or service industry
• Professional dog experience is strongly preferred
• Prior kennel or vet tech experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to empower, develop and lead a team
• Ability to handle a variety of responsibilities, while balancing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Available to be on-call 24/7
• Ability to properly communicate with staff and owners on a daily basis.
• Must be physically fit to lift 40 lbs + stand for extended periods of time and perform requirements of the job.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, outlook, & word) and internet savvy
• Must love dogs!

Salary: Based on experience.
