Couple Needed for Housekeeping & Front Desk - Yachats, OR

We are looking for flexible, dependable, and honest team players. *BACKGROUND CHECKS REQUIRED*
The available positions require weekend availability. Experience is a plus, but not necessary, we are willing to train the right couple. $14/hour, housing included.

Housekeeping shifts 9am-3pm

Housekeeper needs to clean the work area to the standards of our motel.

Attention to detail, physical strength and the stamina to bend, and stand for long periods of time

Understand the company's policy on work shifts, guest's possessions and privacy issues

Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out

Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service

Work with a team of housekeepers on busy shifts

Help keep laundry under control

Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift.

Front Desk shifts at 9AM-7PM during slower winter months, 9AM-9PM during peak spring/summer months.

Front Desk Agents need to be computer literate, have problem solving skills, and be comfortable working alone/unsupervised, and visit guest rooms occasionally for trouble shooting needs.

Perform all check-in and check-out tasks

Manage online and phone reservations

Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data

Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)

Welcome guests upon their arrival

Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities

Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner

Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs

Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate

Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

Understand the company's policy on work shifts, guest's possessions and privacy issues

Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service

Help keep laundry under control during slow periods

***Oversized 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom available to couple who fills positions of housekeeping & front desk. Part-time in the slower months, full-time in the summer months. Pets allowed & encouraged as there is a small, private fenced-in yard that has an ocean view. Washer & dryer in unit. Could come partially furnished.***
