Couple Neded for South France Villa, Past Yacht Experience a Plus - Saint Paul de Vence

JOB DESCRIPTION

Description of Villa: The Villa is a weekender and summer home to a family or three who live in Monaco. The Villa has 6 bedrooms en suite, indoor and outdoor pool, gym and hammam, Balinese hut, preparation kitchen and kitchen. 2 large outdoor eating areas with Weber barbecues.

We like the villa to be run like a yacht/ boutique five star hotel.

THE JOB DESCRIPTION INCLUDES (BUT MAY NOT BE LIMITED TO) THE FOLLOWING:

1. Shutters to be opened by 8 a.m. each morning. Cleaning the villa to a high standard – this should be done thoroughly at least once a week but each day as and when required.
2. Changing towels and bed linen at least twice a week.
3. Bedrooms and en suites to be given a quick tidy and clean each morning.  Checking for toiletries and other necessary items.
4. Keeping Inventory of the bed linen and cutlery and crockery and glassware. Updating us if anything broken/needs replacement and organising same after approval.  Same with toiletries.
5. Ensuring glassware and tableware kept pristine.
6. Cleaning coffee making machine once every two weeks.
7. Cleaning outdoor kitchen and barbecues and checking for gas requirements.
8. Cleaning windows and glass fencing.
9. Cleaning terraces if and as required.
10. Agreeing menu each week in advance. Preparing menu.
11. Purchasing food once or twice a week as required.
12. Breakfast baguettes and pastries to be bought each morning and ready by 8.30-8,45 a.m.
13. Preparing breakfast (twice a week a full breakfast, rest of time healthy breakfast with fruits, berries, yoghurt, shakes), a light lunch or barbecue.  Preparing evening meals (in high season when villa full) full dinner is every other night.  Food to be to a high standard.
14. Drinks and table service as required.
15. Checking for drinks by pool throughout the day.
16. Villa has full time gardener/handyman/driver but assistance with his duties as is necessary.
17. When no guests we will have couple here plus our 5 year old son and his nanny.  
18. With guests usually no more than 8 guests for dinner.  When children here it is usually with a nanny and they look after children’s food.
19. Setting up and clearing table.  Drinks and formal table service required but not silver service. 
20. Drinks to be served before dinner. We usually start eating between 8 and 9 p.m.. Once dinner is finished and dining area and kitchen cleaned if we are staying up later we will serve our own drinks.
21. Locking up house and ensuring alarm is on though in evenings if we are staying up later we will do this.
22. Occasional airport pickups and driving duties.

Accommodation: one large double bedroom en suite.

A car is available at the Villa for Villa use.

A professional uniform will be provided.

20 minute morning and afternoon breaks plus lunch breaks to be taken as agreed.

Working days: In high season (July and August) 1 day off per week or occasionally at other times if special guests staying.  In off season 2 days off per week.

We will be at Villa almost all of July and August. Rest of time we are only back Friday evening to Monday morning.  Happy for couple to use Villa facilities when we are not here.

There is a possibility the couple could remain and run the Villa for people for short terms holidays/ management weekends etc. We would renegotiate the commercial terms with the ability for the couple to benefit from the earnings taken from the rental. To be further discussed if appropriate.

We like a happy, fun, clean and organised house 

where everything is in order.
